You're Not Struggling With Money.

You're Struggling With the Money Secrets You Keep and What Money Can't Fix.

You Already Know This Isn't About the Budget.

You’ve tried controlling your spending before. You’ve read every self-help book, taken the masterclass, sat in therapy sessions, even created narratives in your mind that you didn’t have a problem.

But here you are again.

You’re not just deleting apps - you’re deleting purchase confirmations. You feel like you’ve overcome it because you deleted the app, but you’re still on the email list. You’re moving money from one account to the next so you don’t feel the weight of the guilt. You might’ve made a commitment to stop overspending cold turkey then you got triggered and broke your commitment.

You’re very responsible. That’s for sure. You’re a professional woman. You’ve built a successful career. You may manage departments, or you may manage your own business. No matter the role, you make important decisions and you show up powerfully in your life.

But privately, you’re spent from the hiding. From the mental gymnastics of covering your tracks. From the emptiness that no amount of shopping can fill.

Sister friend, you don’t have a budgeting problem. This is a shopping addiction. And it requires more than a spending plan - it requires core-level work.

Are you ready to do the work?

Are you unsure about your shopping behavior?

1. Women are more likely than men to struggle with shopping addiction, with estimates suggesting that nearly 90% of all cases involve women

2. Shopping addiction often co-occurs with other mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.

3. Research suggests that women are more likely to experience shopping addiction compared to men, with estimates indicating that 70-90% of individuals diagnosed with compulsive buying disorder are female.

I Am Not Your Masterclass Coach.

I don't do budgets. I don't do debt payoff plans. I don't do the same cookie-cutter program for every woman who walks through my door.

Because you don't need another spreadsheet. You need someone who understands that shopping addiction is a real addiction - not a lack of discipline, not a budgeting problem, not something you can willpower your way out of.

I'm a Public Health Educator, Certified Credit Counselor, and Shopping Addiction Specialist with training in addiction counseling. I bring something different to the table. I understand the clinical side of addiction AND the practical side of money. But most importantly, I understand that this isn't about the money at all.

This is about getting to the root - the real root. Not the one you think it is. The one buried beneath the shame, the hiding, and the compulsion. And once we uncover it, we don't just leave you there. We walk you through what life looks like on the other side of it.

This is customized. This is core-level. This is for life.
Once we begin this work together, you don't walk it alone.

Here's How We Do This.

This is customized coaching because every woman shows up differently - and what she needs to finally release the weight of this looks different.

Step 1

The Initial Assessment

We start with an assessment. This isn't just paperwork - this determines whether we're a good fit for each other. Not everyone gets the green light to move forward, and that's okay. This work requires readiness, and I only work with women who are truly ready to do it.

Step 1

Step 2

Getting to Know You

If we're a fit, I don't jump straight into the work. I take time to get to know YOU. We'll revisit your assessment and go deeper with the questions. Based on the information you provided, I'll ask more in-depth questions about certain answers. The reason for this? It helps me piece together your story so we can understand where this really began.

Step 2

Step 3

The Work Begins

This is where we use The Transformative and Mending Guide - guided worksheets designed to peel back the layers. Some sections may apply to you. Some may not. This isn't a cookie-cutter process. It's customized to fit each woman's journey.

As we work through it together in our one-on-one sessions, I'll be gathering information. Taking note of what you share, how you show up, your energy, your words. And when I recognize patterns or breakthrough moments, I'll show you what I've uncovered.

Step 3

Step 4

The Mirroring Moments

These are the moments where I hold up the mirror and say, "Let me show you what I see." Sometimes these moments aren't easy. But they're always worth it. Breakthroughs can feel hard, but you won't walk through them alone. I'm with you every step of the way. This is a crucial step in your process.

Step 4

Step 5

Moving Past the Core

Once we uncover the core cause, we don't leave you there. We talk about what life looks like without operating from that place of pain, void, or hurt. We create a plan for YOU - not a template - but a path forward that fits your life.

Step 5

There’s no time stamp on this.

One woman may take 6 months. Another may take 12. Some may need less time. You move at YOUR pace. Your time is valuable, and I’m not here to rush you through the process. I’m here to walk it with you.

This is one-on-one private coaching - virtual or hybrid. You set the pace. I meet you where you are.

Once we begin this work together, you don’t walk it alone.

This is for You if…

You’re a professional woman who’s respected in your community. You serve on boards, mentor younger women, give back to causes you believe in. You organize events for organizations. Maybe you lead community associations and/or church. Maybe you lead youth groups. You’re the one people call when they need someone to step up and lead.

You’re looked up to. You’re the one they come to for advice, for leadership, for support. You’ve built a life that looks good from every angle - your career, your community presence, your impact.

Privately, you’re facing the challenges of a shopping addiction that’s costing you more than money. It’s costing you peace. It’s disrupting your relationships. It’s interfering with the life you worked so hard to build.

Don’t get me wrong - you’re financially stable. You have the resources. But what’s missing in your life is wholeness. And you’re tired of feeling empty no matter how much you buy.

You’ve tried other programs. They were good programs. But they weren’t aligned with you. What you needed was to be seen, heard, and understood on a deeper level. Not handed another budget strategy or a pocket tracker to track your spending.

You’re exhausted of trying programs that aren’t aligned with you. You’re ready to do the real work - the deep work. No more quick fixes. Not another masterclass. Not another delete the apps coaching. The deep, core-level work that gets to the root of your why.

Does this sound familiar? Then this is for you.

This is Not for You if…

You're looking for a 6 or 12-week course with a certificate at the end. You're looking for a platform where you just discuss the money aspect of shopping addiction. You're looking for a place where you can vent but not do the deep work. You may not be ready to face what's really driving your overspending.

This work requires honesty, vulnerability, and commitment. If you're not ready for that, that's okay. But if you need help finding what fits you, we can connect you with other resources.

“I met Janera in July 2019, I did not start my journey until September of 2019. In November of 2019 I became eligible for a pre-approval loan to buy my home (closed on house February 2020). Working with Janera was a great experience! She held me accountable, very hands on and answered any and every question I had. I would say if you’re looking for someone who will give you one on one coaching for your money needs, you have found the right person when you work with Janera.”

R. Stewart

Nursing Director

“I had an excellent experience with Janera! I was dealing with a collection agency that came from medical bills that I accumulated during college with a insurance company that barely payed a cent! After getting helpful tips from Janera I was able to negotiate my collection from 1880 to 1050! They wanted to only let me down to 1580 but due to some of the key pointers Janera instructed me with. I was able to speak to the manager and get it down to 1050! She is wonderful, I highly recommend!”

C. Jennings

Sales Executive

“I recommend Janara Harvey to anyone who wants to get their finances in order. She takes the time out to look over your credit report, analyze your debt and come up with a plan to get you out of debt. She got me on track to be credit card debt free by June 2021 and with her guidance, I’m able to save an additional $500 a month.”

A. Glover

I started working with Janera a little over a year ago at age 48 when I was seeking help for a lifetime of shopping addiction. I initially was paired with a different provider (therapist) and we both quickly realized that we weren’t a good match. Thankfully she (the therapist) recommended me to Janera believing that her focus better matched my specific needs.
